Create a permanent Hawk Cleaning Station™. Drill a hole in the bottom of a cabinet, install this dispenser and pull up to 350 paper towels one at a time through the bottom.
This is a wonderful system to encourage cleaning and promote a healthier space!
The paper towel roll must be a center pull type with about a 2” diameter center hole in
it, and capable of sitting in the center of a cabinet, at least 10” wide, 10” deep, and 11.5” tall.
Then place a few cleaning spray bottles with disinfecting, glass cleaning, waxing, etc., solutions in them around it, and you have a Hawk Cleaning Station!™
Pull paper towels down slowly to remove a few at a time or pull and rip away just one as needed. Select the best cleaning agent for the task and away you go!
When you make it easier to reach and grab a spray bottle and large quantity of paper towels, you increase your cleaning abilities! Keeping it in a closed cabinet helps protect them and keep them sanitary.

We have tested this product and method and find it an Excellent Way to help clean things, and a joy to use! We sometimes mark the date on the outside of the roll and see how long it takes to run out. Sometimes we put a smiley face mark on the outside of the roll, or draw a flower, or a short little note, just something nice to see when you open the cabinet door! LOL!
We love the Hawk Auto Order option and each month get 4 rolls of 350 count paper towels so we don’t run out, but delivered right to our door. We can go about 7 days per roll, about a week or so, but we are heavy users. We hate germs! We are constantly cleaning something, and visitors love how clean we keep everything! LOL!

PAPER TOWELS HISTORY:
​
The Scott Paper Company was formed in 1879 by E. Irwin and Clarence Scott in Pennsylvania, and the paper towel was invented by Arthur Scott, son of E. Irwin Scott, using an error at the company which accidentally produced a batch of thicker than normal toilet paper sheets in 1907.
Arthur Scott heard about a teacher in Philadelphia that was cutting out square bits of soft notebook paper to use by her children instead of regular towels, to prevent the transfer of germs during an epidemic of colds there. She told them to use it once and then throw it out.
When this bad batch of toilet paper was produced, Arthur Scott was convinced that he could use it for this purpose. They were sold as the “Sani-Towel”, “For Use Once By One User.” Each towel was about 13” wide by 18” long, and distributed to hotels, railroad stations, and restaurants.
This item competed with the continuous roll cloth towel encased in a metal holder that was currently available. When dirty, the towel would be removed, cleaned and returned to be used again. The main problem with that is that it would get to the end of the roll and no one would change it, so you found yourself using the same end of the towel as everyone else, not very sanitary.
Perforated kitchen paper towels were introduced in 1931, but did not sell well. Most people thought it silly to throw out a hand towel instead of washing it and using it over and over. They did not understand that such hand towels could be contaminated with bacteria even after washed, and could distribute germs from person to person or item to item, as used.
About 13 billion pounds of paper a year is used to make paper towels, which uses 110 million trees and 130 million gallons of water. Most paper towels are made from wood scraps from sawmills, turned into paper pulp and then into useful paper towels, instead of wasted.
While a paper towel is not sterile, it is quite hygienically clean, when stored properly and kept away from flies, insects, and other contaminates.
It also mostly deteriorates cleanly in a landfill, and may be made with recycled materials. Please do not litter. Be a friend to the Earth and leave it better and cleaner than when you arrived.

Microbiologists say that hand and kitchen towels are one of the most contaminated items in the home, often having traces of fecal bacteria on them.
They also recognize the best quality of the paper towel, that it starts out relatively fresh and clean, and can be disposed of immediately, instead of further spreading germs with it.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT HISTORY:
​
Scott Karr, otherwise known as Hawk, had considered how one might drill a hole in a
standard kitchen or other cabinet, and place a large amount of paper towels there, to be
dispensed through the bottom, when he was about 10 years old. However his father, being
of a neat and orderly nature, wanted no part of “ruining” his kitchen cabinets with a hole in
one of them! LOL!
Just before passing away, his Dad asked him to; “Take care of your mother and the house!”
Many years later while caring for his mother, and wanting a cleaner and easier method
in the kitchen, he bit the bullet and drilled through the cabinet, experimented with different dispensers, and finally created the Hawk Cleaning Station™ about 2015! Along with the large quantity of 350 paper towels, he also placed half a dozen spray bottles of his favorite disinfectants, glass cleaners, and waxing agents, also right there next to the roll in the cabinet, instantly available.
He had also founded The Excellentway Society™ and was constantly looking for better and more excellent ways to live and contribute to the world, and found this idea to be an
Excellentway Society Lifetime SystemTM, set it up right once, good for a lifetime!
Then during the 2020 Germ War, such a nice solution was used constantly to prevent
items from being possibly contaminated, general cleaning, and for all types of projects! Great!
He was amazed at the time, and remains astounded to this day, as to how such a simple adaptation could be such a joy and satisfying method, and how much he loved it!
He thinks it has something to do with how easily and instantly a solution is available,
for solving a wide range of disinfecting, cleaning, polishing, waxing, and project, requirements.

You might also encourage your kids, or satisfy your own curious nature, and use the included caliper tool to measure the size of small tree trunks and watch them as they grow, and encourage a respect and appreciation for a world of beautiful trees!
